应用

N-Benzylquininium chloride can be used as a phase transfer catalyst:

In the sulfenylation of various β-keto sulfoxides.
To synthesize N-carbamoyl-protected β-nitroamines from α-amido sulfones by asymmetric aza-Henry reaction.
