Aqueous mounting medium for use in conjunction with fluorescent tracers such as fluorescein, rhodamine, and phycobiliprotein probes. Preserves fluorescence-stained tissue sections. Specially formulated without glycerol. Ideal for use with phycobiliprotein tracers.
An aqueous mounting medium for use in conjunction with fluorescent tracers such as fluorescein, rhodamine and phycobiliprotein probes. Specifically designed for preserving fluorescent stained tissue sections. FluorSave is formulated without glycerol and therefore is ideal for use with phycobiliproteins.

Instructions for use

1. Rinse stained tissue sections with distilled water.

2. Briskly shake slide to remove excess water. Blot out any water left around tissue section.

3. Place slide on a horizontal surface and apply two drops of FluorSave on top of the tissue sections.

4. Place coverslip carefully on top of the mounting fluid. Avoid trapping air bubbles. At this point slides can be handled and placed under the microscope provided they are kept in a horizontal position.

5. FluorSave will solidify in one hour at room temperature. Allow slides to air dry overnight before storing them vertically. Store slides in the dark.
