应用

For peptide synthesis. Peptides can be cleaved from the resin with 0.5-1% CF₃CO₂H in CH₂Cl₂.

生化/生理作用

Fmoc-L-alanine is an N-terminal protected amino acid (Fmoc amino acid) used in solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) to make peptides containing an the alanine residue. Fmoc-L-alanine Sasrin^® (Bachem) resin ester is used for Fmoc solid phase peptide synthesis.
