Anti-PML antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project (www.proteinatlas.org). 生化/生理作用

Promyelocytic leukemia (PML) plays an important role as a cell growth and tumor suppressor protein. It is essential for multiple apoptotic signals. PML is present in speckled nuclear structures called PML nuclear bodies (NB). In mature activated splenic lymphocytes, a protein called Daxx (death domain-associated protein) is upregulated and it accumulates in the PML-NBs. Here, PML and Daxx physically interact and take part in a pathway for apoptosis. It also acts as a ligand-dependent coactivator of retinoid X receptor α (RXR-α)/retinoic acid receptor α (RAR-α).
