Polycaprolactone (PCL) is an FDA approved biodegradable polymer for biomedical and pharmaceutical applications. PCL based nanoparticles have been widely used as drug delivery systems for a variety of therapeutic molecules and are advantageous for their slow degradation and controlled drug release. PCL-Nano is a component of our NanoFabTx™ biodegradable nanoparticle formulation screening kit (917737) which includes additional reagents, stabilizer and protocols for nanoprecipitation and microfluidics to synthesize 100-200 nm nanoparticles.
