应用
Anti-ALDH3A2 antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 0.25μg/ml and for immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded tissue sections at a concentration of 4-8μg/ml.
生化/生理作用
Aldehyde dehydrogenase 3 family, member A2 (ALDH3A2) is involved in alcohol metabolism and lipid peroxidation. It specifically catalyzes the oxidation of long-chain aliphatic aldehydes to fatty acid. Mutations in ALDH3A2 cause Sjögren-Larsson syndrome, an inherited neurocutaneous disorder.
