应用
Anti-FKTN antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 5.0μg/ml and for immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded tissue sections at a concentration of 4-8μg/ml.
生化/生理作用
Fukutin (FKTN) is a transmembrane protein localized to cis-Golgi compartment. It is a glycosyltransferase and is involved in the glycosylation of dystroglycan in skeletal muscle. FKTN gene defects result in Fukuyama-type congenital muscular dystrophy (FCMD), Walker-Warburg syndrome (WWS) and limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2M (LGMD2M).
