生化/生理作用
MRTO4 gene also referred to as C1orf33, MRT4, dJ657E11.4 or mRNA turnover 4 homolog (S. cerevisiae) encodes for a protein that shows extensive sequence similarity to the ribosomal P0 protein. It facilitates as a trans-acting factor that modifies the assembly of the pre-60S particle. MRT4 is also involved in mRNA turnover and ribosome assembly.
