应用
Anti-OSBPL9 antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 0.25μg/ml and for immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded tissue sections at a concentration of 4-8μg/ml.
生化/生理作用
Oxysterol binding protein-like 9 (OSBPL9; ORP9) belongs to the oxysterol-binding protein family of intracellular lipid receptors. This protein is localized to between the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and Golgi apparatus. It regulates structure of Golgi and is involved in cholesterol and ceramide transport and synthesis of sphingomyelin. OSBPL9 is a substrate of PDK-2 and negatively regulates Akt by increasing the phosphorylation at Ser473 but not at Thr308.
