PAGE1 (prostate associated gene also referred to as P antigen family member 1) belongs to a multigene family and is expressed in high amount in testes and to low extent in placenta. It is a probable target for the diagnosis and perhaps for the vaccine-based therapy of neoplasms of prostate, testis, and uterus because of its expression in normal and malignant prostate, testicular, and uterine tissues.
