生化/生理作用
RYBP (Ring1 and YY1 binding protein) is a ZFP that interacts with proteins of mammalian polycomb complexes. Along with YY1, RYBP regulates skeletal myogenesis by repressing miRNA-29. It is also required for the development of mouse eye and retina development, working in collaboration with several transcription factors. Additionally, RYBP interacts with MDM2 to regulate the ubiquitination of p53 indicating a tumor suppressor activity.
