SAP30BP also known as HTRP (human transcription regulator protein) is a protein induced during HSV-1 infection in human embryo fibroblasts. HTRP interacts with SAP30 that is one of the components of co-repressor complex mSin3A. HTRP promotes the HDAC activity by decreasing the acetylation of histone H3.
