生化/生理作用
TMEM184A is a multi-pass membrane protein that is expressed during mouse embryogenesis in the sertoli cells of the developing testis cords. It has been reported to mediate sex-specific signaling events during sertoli cell differentiation. Misexpression of Tmem184a is found to result in altered germ cell fate in the developing ovary.
