Tetratricopeptide repeat domain 5 (TTC5; stress responsive activator of p300, Strap) is a stress-inducible transcription cofactor that interacts with histone acetyltransferase p300 and facilitates the response of p53 to stress. TTC5 reportedly prevents the apoptosis of acute myeloid leukemia stem cells and has a role in leukemic hematopoiesis.
