Human Caucasian colon adenocarcinoma

Derived from a 58 year old female Caucasian with Dukes type B adenocarcinoma of the colon. The cells secrete CEA and mucin and are tumorigenic in nude mice. LS174T (Sigma Catalogue number. 87060401) was derived from the same patient. The cells have not been exposed to trypsin.

EMEM (EBSS) + 2mM Glutamine + 1% Non Essential Amino Acids (NEAA) + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).

传代培养常规

Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:2 to 1:4 i.e. seeding at 2-5x10,000 cells/cm² by scraping; 5% CO₂; 37℃.
