in liposome preparation for retinyl ester hydrolase (REH) and cholesteryl esterase activity assay

生化/生理作用

Cholesteryl palmitate is associated with atherosclerotic plaque. Deuterated cholesteryl palmitate in used in reconstituting high-density lipoprotein (HDL). An elevated levels of the ratio of cholesteryl oleate to cholesteryl palmitate is implicated with apoptotic cell death in the atherosclerotic lesions.
