THO complex 1 (THOC1, HPR1, P84, P84N5) is a component of the TREX (transcription/export) complex that physically couples elongating RNA polymerase II with RNA processing and nuclear RNA export factors to regulate gene expression. THOC1 is required for embryonic development at the time of implantation. THOC1 may be involved in neoplastic transformation.

应用

Anti-THOC1 polyclonal antibody is used to tag THO complex 1 for detection and quantitation by Western blotting and in plasma by immunohistochemical (IHC) techniques. It is used as a probe to determine the roles of THO complex 1 in TREX complex function and gene expression.
