It has a high solubility in solvents like chloroform, THF and xylene.

((BEHP-PPV)-co-(MEH-PPV)) is a conjugating polymer that can be used as an active layer in the fabrication of a variety of organic semiconducting devices such as light emitting diodes (LEDs), photovoltaic cells, and photonic crystal lasers.
